MMA: The Complete Package

Mixed Martial Arts is a combination of various martial arts forged into one discipline. A full contact combat sport made famous through its televised competitions, MMA incorporates a mixture of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Judo, Wrestling, Karate, Taekwondo and Sanshou to form a complete package. It is an effective form of self defence as well as an extreme physical activity. Some of the MMA greats include Minotauro Nogueira, Minotouro Nogueira, Anderson Silva and Ronda Rousey.

MMA is a complete sport, and by incorporating several martial arts into one, it teaches the most all-rounded form of self-defence. Nowadays, competitions like UFC have made the sport perhaps the most famous modern martial art out there; children aspire to become MMA fighters and adults are entertained by the greats of the sport. Learning MMA is an opportunity to understand all martial arts and the best situation to use each of them.
