It’s all go here at Team Nogueira as the end of the year approaches and we move into competition season. First up we have the Future Champions Competition, which runs on Nov 12th and we’re very excited to see the fights that will be taking place across a range of disciplines! In and amongst that however, we are delighted to share the news that we have some very special guests joining us before the year is out!

World Class Teaching at TND: The All-Star Lineup

It’s not without good reason that we say our gym is where the best in the world come to train (and teach!). We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from the very best, and this season is no different. Over the last three months of this year we have eight superstars in the house! All the details below: don’t miss out!

Leo Vieira

As you know already, last month we were honoured to welcome back Leo Vieira as a special guest. He stayed with us for a week and shared some of his secrets and proven techniques in class. And in case you missed him in October, we have more good news for you: Leo is back again from the 8th until the 12th of November, and will be teaching some special classes whilst he’s in town.

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida and Renzo Gracie

4x Open weight IBJJF World Champion, 3x Open weight UAEJJF World Champion, the man of the moment Marcus Buchecha joined us mid-October for a great seminar focussing on guard passes and mount techniques. He also stayed around for a few days to catch up with everyone and pass on his latest knowledge. And as if that wasn’t enough, our regular guest Renzo Gracie stopped by for a brief visit as well!

Sergio Penha

The legend himself, BJJ coral belt Sergio Penha, joined us at the end of October for a seminar, and has also been teaching some special classes at the gym. It is an honour to receive the master of Mario Sperry, who is in turn the master of our head coach Rafael Haubert. With forty years of martial arts experience, he is truly wise to the art, and we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from him.

Mario Sperry

One of the most important names in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, Pride Champion and founder of Brazilian Top Team, the triple ADCC Champion and triple Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Mario Sperry will be here and teaching special classes from the 15th to the 19th of November.

Rubens Charles Cobrinha

In case you missed Cobrinha last year, you now have the chance to learn from the longest-reigning BJJ featherweight champion. Incredibly strong, dexterous and athletic, the “Little Snake” will be imparting some of his new methods and techniques with a seminar on Saturday 26th of November.
